Wednesday 14th June
All the children slept well again, some slightly later to sleep - all worn out now but happy! Breakfast included scrambled egg and smoked salmon on toast along with the usual cereals, fruits, drinks and juices. Weather is gorgeous and children are all packed ready for home although cannot guarantee all their clothes are their own. We had a 'laundry parade' last night trying to relocate owners to washed and dried river clothing!
Two final exciting activities ahead before lunch and home.
Tuesday 13th June
All children slept well (no disturbances at all - think they were all glad to get snuggled in!) and just waking them up now 7:30 am. Looking lovely and sunny here today - fingers crossed it stays that way!
Photos from yesterday nearly all uploaded now - just one group to go! Enjoy!
Today the children have excelled (as only our pupils can!) We can honestly say that we have never been prouder of them! Activities today have included: archery, trust trail, crate climbing, xp challenge, low ropes and bushcraft. The children never give up and constantly challenge themselves and the staff here have commented that they have never seen a school work so well together! They support and encourage each other and are achieving personal successes. The room inspections have been very positive and reflect their overall outstanding behaviour. Photos will be uploaded shortly.
Monday 12th June
All the children have had a busy, fun and exhausting day today with a variety of activities. Three groups have been 'in the river' rafting, other activities have included climbing, crate climbing, archery and low ropes. The day ended with a camp fire and singing before toasting marshmallows. All children are enjoying the food and are now settling down for the night. Look at the pictures for a selection of our activities.
