Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)

At Peakirk-cum-Glinton Primary Academy, we embrace the fact that every child is different, and therefore, the educational needs of every child are different.

We believe that every child is a precious and unique gift from God. Our inclusive approach to Special Educational Needs is rooted in our Christian values of compassion, respect, trust, friendship, peace and harmony, and forgiveness.

We are committed to ensuring that all children, regardless of their individual needs or abilities, feel welcomed, supported, and celebrated within our school community. We work in partnership with families, professionals, and the wider community to provide a nurturing environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Through personalised support, thoughtful adaptations, and a culture of kindness, we help children with SEN to grow in confidence and independence. Our staff are dedicated to recognising each child’s strengths and potential, and to fostering a sense of belonging and purpose.

Inspired by our Christian ethos, we strive to be a school where every child is known, loved, and empowered to flourish.

If you have any concerns regarding your child’s progress or well-being, then please speak in the first instance to your child’s class teacher to discuss your concerns.
