Year 5 and 6 Residential - Bushcraft
Lasting memories from the trip May 22nd to 24th 2023
Tuesday evening
This morning we made paracord bracelets then had pizza for lunch. We watched our camp leader parnasse a salmon and set it up to cook over the fire, After tea we had a "Tribes Got Talent" contest which saw us making up a play, singing songs and showing off our moves.
We were all in bed by 10pm and asleep very soon afterwards.
Tuesday morning
After a late night and a very early morning we are all up and ready for our sausage, beans and potatoes breakfast. This should keep us fueled for our morning including first aid and SOS training.
The WiFi isn't great but we will try to upload more photos later.
Monday
This morning we arrived safely at Bushcraft and were welcomed into our camp, which will be our home for the next three days. In our tribes, we have made fires and cooked lunch (burgers and corn), washed up and are now going into a camouflage workshop. We are looking forward to building shelters before dinner.
